Intrepid Launches 10 New Premium Walking and Trekking Itineraries with Exclusive Local Experiences

Intrepid is offering 10 new premium walking and trekking itineraries from January next year, with premium service, higher category accommodations and exclusive local experiences.
Among the new itineraries are:
- A seven-day Jordan trip – Includes the ‘Back Door to Petra’ hike, which follows the ancient trading route used by the Nabataeans, before arriving at Petra’s Ed-Deir Monastery. There’s also a stay at an ecolodge in the Dana Biosphere Reserve.
- A three-day Grand Canyon trip – Hike the South Kaibab trail along Cedar Ridge. Guests see the Bright Angel Fault and follow the historic Grandview Trail.
- A nine-day Vietnam trip – Walk through valleys, tea plantations, limestone peaks and rice terraces in Nam Ti and Hoang Su Phi. Stay at an ecolodge in the hills of Tu Le and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dinner at a restored historic mansion.
- A nine-day Morocco trip – Hike through the Atlas Mountains and across the Tizi N’Tamatert Pass, exploring the cliffs, sand dunes and shorelines of Essaouira. Finish the adventure at a riad in the heart of Marrakech medina.
- A seven-day Peru trip – Walk along a section of the Inca Trail, stay in Aguas Calientes and meet members of the Paru Paru community during a hike to Kinsa Qocha lagoon.
