BlackBrick Hotels Welcomes Logan Naidoo As Regional GM To Drive Growth And Guest Connection

BlackBrick Hotels has appointed Logan Naidoo as Regional GM, with the opening of BlackBrick Gardens in Cape Town in October set to be his first major focus.
Naidoo has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, working across top local and international properties, including nine years with The Capital Hotel Group.
“Logan brings the kind of leadership that resonates with our ethos,” said Jonathan Liebmann, CEO and co-founder of BlackBrick. “He’s not afraid to be hands-on, and he understands that true hospitality is about connection.”
Qantas appoints new Regional GM UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa
Qantas has appointed Darsh Chapman as its new Regional GM UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Chapman brings her operational and commercial experience from her leadership of Qantas’s Global Airports function. She will be based in Qantas’s London office, taking over from Georgia Blackburn, who held the role for the last three years.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the London team, with so much happening in the region – from our new flights between Johannesburg and Perth in December to ongoing preparations for our ultra-long-haul flying between London and Sydney with Project Sunrise,” Chapman posted on LinkedIn.
New Emirates Country Manager for Zimbabwe
Emirates has made new strategic team appointments to increase the airline’s commercial and operational footprint and improve its presence in key markets.
Omar Bushlaibi, Emirates Country Manager: Zambia, will also become interim Country Manager for Zimbabwe, from August 1. The former Emirates Country Manager: Zimbabwe, Talal Al Gergawi, will take on a new role as Emirates Country Manager: Bangladesh.
