Singita Sets December 2026 Opening For Elela Lodge Bringing New Luxury To The Okavango Delta

Singita has confirmed the opening of Elela in Botswana’s Okavango Delta on December 11 next year.

Located on concession NG26, the new property will comprise eight camps: five one-bedroom, two two-bedroom and one four-bedroom. Inspired by the Delta’s seasonality, each camp is circular in design and set on stilts.

Facilities include private vehicles, guides and dedicated hosts. The four-bedroom camp will also feature two private vehicles and guides, a host, chef and private wellness spaces. All camps include a pool, kitchenette, dining and lounge areas, outdoor decks and space for wellness treatments or workouts. Children of all ages are welcome.

Activities will include game drives, bush walks, seasonal mokoro rides, boating, fishing, wine experiences, stargazing, yoga, wellness treatments and optional helicopter rides.

Singita describes Elela as a continuation of its ethos of honouring landscape, biodiversity, culture and people while working with local partners and communities to protect the Delta ecosystem.
