Air Algerie Sets Sights On Johannesburg Return With New A330neo Service Planned For Early 2026

Air Algerie has filed an operational schedule indicating plans to resume flights between Algiers and Johannesburg from as early as January 16, 2026.

According to Aeroroutes, the airline’s schedule filing shows the airline would operate three weekly flights with its new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.

The proposed schedule is as follows:

  • On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flight AH5360 would depart Algiers at 22h05 and arrive in Johannesburg at 08h30 the following day.
  • On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, the return flight AH5361, would depart Johannesburg at 22h30 and arrive in Algiers at 07h00 the following day.

The airline last served this route in February 2024.
