The 2022 Last Man Standing season is finally here: Action-packed year for health and fitness enthusiasts!
Submitted by: Yethu DlaminiThe 2022 edition of Last Man Standing is bringing more exciting events and workouts at all your favourite venues within South Africa.
The 2022 season kicks off in May and will run until November. Fitness enthusiasts can expect a jampacked calendar of activities and events from Last Man Standing at premier sporting venues across the country – including Sun City in the North West.
“The 2022 action-packed event will give competitors and spectators an unmatched experience throughout the season,” said Robert Walker, founder and director of Last Man Standing. “This year’s season will consist of four events set to take place at three marquee venues in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Sun City. The other event provides a platform for Last Man Standing supporters to showcase their love and passion for fitness virtually, competing at their local gyms or boxes. The aim is to involve everyone in the health and fitness space to experience the community element that Last Man Standing and other similar events have created over the years.”
Last Man Standing comprises of three divisions, which are beginner, intermediate and elite (advanced) scaling. Athletes can compete as an individual or team. Visit the Last Man Standing website for more information.
This season, athletes can look forward to brand new and exciting workouts across all divisions and categories. As if that’s not fun enough, athletes and the broader community of the health and fitness space will be able to catch all the action as it happens on the Last Man Standing fitness app.
The app is available to download on android and IOS systems, click here for more information. It shows where each event is happening, when it will take place, the workouts to be completed and the leader board showing all athletes competing and the divisions they are competing in.
“Our goal is to not only impact people locally but internationally as well. To do that, we need to keep innovating. The app gives us an opportunity to improve and promote health, fitness and wellness throughout the year, and not only towards each event. It’s also a great tool for us to attract more people in the health and fitness space,” said Walker.
