Last Saturday, 26 October, Crocworld Conservation Centre in Scottburgh was bustling with excitement for the grand opening of Jikaleza Outdoor Adventures. The event drew crowds eager to experience one of the region’s only aerial zipline adventures. Suitable for ages 7 to 100, the treetop obstacle course combines adrenaline-pumping fun with a fantastic workout.
The launch day was packed with activities, including the inaugural ziplining experience, a vibrant craft market, live music, and a welcoming beer garden set against the beautiful coastal backdrop. Wesley Westerdale, owner of Jikaleza Outdoor Adventures, shared his enthusiasm: “It was a successful first day to showcase our new adventure park as an appetiser for things to come. We were fully booked for three hours, and our amazing trained guides ensured public safety while facilitating the aerial obstacle course. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited for future events.”
A New Addition to KZN South Coast Tourism
Both Sapphire Coast Tourism and the South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise have applauded the new adventure park, recognising its significant contribution to the local tourism scene. With the festive season fast approaching, holidaymakers visiting the KZN South Coast now have another thrilling activity to add to their list.
