Love bikes but worried about buying one you haven’t tried out? Ever wondered what it would be like to ride a SCOTT mountain bike? Well, now is your chance to test-ride several of these incredible bikes on Jowetts Cycles Demo Day on Sunday, 30 November at Cascades MTB Park from 9am to 1pm.  

On the day, SCOTT enthusiasts will be able to test-ride a number of SCOTT MOUNTAIN BIKES plus take part in a fun ‘Eliminator’ race where cyclists can race their bikes to win a prize. The laps are short at 1.3km so bring your own bikes to the event.  

Visitors will also stand a chance of winning a SCOTT HYDRATION PACK, valued at R1440 by participating in the fun ‘selfie competition’. To enter, visitors must post selfies on the day and tag @jowettscycles on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. There will be lots of other fun stuff to do and exciting prizes up for grabs, plus free food and drinks to everyone in cycling kit, catered for by SCOTT-Sports.  

Says Ingrid Flint, owner/manager of Jowetts Cycles, “At Jowetts, we want our customers to make informed purchasing decisions and love the bikes they own. At the free demo, our team will provide valuable information about the bikes and help customers understand what type of bike works for them. Customers will be able to get a feel for the bikes they wish to purchase and ultimately find the bike they really want.”  

Bikes available for test-riding will be SCOTT Spark 710 (carbon), SCOTT Spark 720 (carbon), SCOTT Spark 750 (alloy), SCOTT Spark 910 (carbon), SCOTT Spark 940 (alloy) and the SCOTT Genius 910 (carbon).
