Bridgestone dominates Suzuka 8 Hours - Top 8 finishes on Bridgestone tyres Suzuka, Japan

In one of the most demanding and iconic events in motorcycle endurance racing, Bridgestone tyres proved once again why they are the premier choice for performance, consistency and endurance. At the legendary Suzuka 8 Hours, all of the top 8 finishing teams crossed the line on Bridgestone tyres.

All Eyes on Suzuka: A Race Like No Other

The Suzuka 8 Hours is a cornerstone of the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC). It is more than just a race. It is a battleground of precision, stamina and strategy. All of this played out under the punishing heat of the Japanese summer.

Bridgestone-supported machines were present across the grid. But the real statement came at the finish line. Every rider in the top 8 relied on Bridgestone tyres. The entire podium was locked out by Bridgestone-equipped teams.

Podium Power: Success on Bridgestone

At the front of the field stood Team HRC (Honda). This all-star lineup included MotoGP rider Johann Zarco. Zarco stunned fans and rivals by setting the fastest lap ever at Suzuka. His 2’04.290 secured pole position and set the tone for race day. Team HRC turned that speed into a dominant victory. Their pace, consistency and strategy delivered a well-earned win.

In second place was another Bridgestone-equipped all-star squad. Yamaha Factory Racing showed their strength with a smooth and fast performance. With proven experience at Suzuka and elite riders, they secured a strong second place.

The final podium spot went to one of Bridgestone’s permanent EWC-supported teams. Yoshimura SERT Motul brought their GSX-R1000R home in third. The reigning champions showed their endurance skill and discipline to claim a well-deserved podium.

Bridgestone Permanent EWC Teams

In addition to the all-star efforts, our other full-season EWC teams put in strong performances on one of the most challenging circuits of the year.

5th place

BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team delivered a solid and steady ride that kept them competitive throughout the 8 hours.

8th place

Kawasaki Webike Trickstar (KWT Japan) showed once again their ability to compete on the world stage

Not every team reached the finish. F.C.C. TSR Honda France had to retire early due to mechanical issues. YART Yamaha Official EWC Team was forced to withdraw after a crash.

A Tyre That Endures

Bridgestone’s commitment to endurance racing is not just about speed. It is about consistency, durability and trust in every condition. Suzuka is one of the toughest tests for tyres. The technical layout, high temperatures and race pressure push every part of the machine to its limit.

The results speak clearly. All top 8 finishers were on Bridgestone. This clean sweep reflects years of development and strong partnerships with world-class teams. It shows the relentless pursuit of performance that defines Bridgestone.

As the FIM EWC season continues, Bridgestone remains focused on supporting its permanent teams and factory partners in their quest for championship success.
