SASMEA is a dedicated advocate for the growth and sustainability of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Southern Africa. Originating in 2010 through our predecessor, SASMEF, we have developed a legacy of advocacy, support and commitment to transforming the economic landscape by addressing the unique challenges faced by MSMEs. Our Mission SASMEA aims to uplift and empower the MSME sector to create an inclusive economic environment. We serve as a catalyst in removing economic, political, and legislative barriers, ensuring that MSMEs can thrive and contribute significantly to the national economy. Our Vision To be the leading voice in Southern Africa, fostering a conducive ecosystem where MSMEs are recognized, supported, and empowered to drive economic transformation.

We are focused on developing the MSME sector. We participate in conversations with government, corporates and NGOs to create an environment where small business can flourish. We offer opportunities for our members to access new markets and funding. We also offer a selection of resources that members can access to help develop their business.
