What better way to welcome the New school Year than the good news that local  education is getting international attention? La Lucia’s Victory Christian Academy (VCA) secured its position as a leading educational institution when it was conferred Global Model Status by the US-based Accelerated Christian Education (ACE).

Starting at Grade 000 through to Grade 12, the school recently celebrated a quarter century of world-class education. The educational challenge of the twenty-first century has motivated Victory Christian Academy (VCA) to uphold their standard of excellence, earning them Global Model Status. Global Model Status is an elite status earned by schools exhibiting exceptional academic achievements and enabling their students to excel in their pursuit of life careers.

Instead of confining their education advancement based only on age, it allows personalised growth, ensuring mastery according to a student’s individual rate of learning. “This recognition shows the quality of education we bring to the community, and for us the sky is the limit now” says Vernon David, proud principal of VCA, who received the award from ACE recently.

Using the individualized Bible-based curriculum of Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) this school focuses on Christian character training and outstanding academic accomplishments by its students, and also demonstrates a continuing commitment to activities, regional, national and international competitions motivate students to reach their God-given potential.

“We believe that our school’s achievement is attributed in part to parental and community commitment,” David said, highlighting past Victorians’ participation in community activities, regional, national, and international competitions, which motivate students to reach their full potential.

This year, the average student’s grade in all subjects was exceptional. School staff, who motivate through positive reinforcement, stimulate many students to complete well over one year’s standard academic expectations.

Victory Christian Academy believes that their school’s achievement is attributed in part to community commitment to maintain an atmosphere where such as school can effectively educate today’s youth for tomorrow’s world.
