Re-m-ember 6900 hectares, group show at Artvark Gallery, Cape Town opens 29 May, 2015.

The Artvark Gallery in Kalk Bay proudly presents "re-m-ember 6900 hectares", a group exhibition pertaining to the recent Cape Town fires. 40+ artists will be reflecting on the Cape Of Flames.
Artists participating include Lien Botha, Judy Woodborne, Niel Jonker, Maeve Dewar, Donna Mckellar, Joshua Miles, Theo Paul Vorster, JP Meyer, Laura Du Toit, Adrienne Silva, Milene Rust, John Bauer, Jill Trappler, Bastiaan van Stenis, Janet Ranson, Theresa Jo Wessels and many other great artists.
Ten percent of our proceeds of the show will go to the Volunteer Wildfire Services.
The exhibition opens 29th May 2015 at 7pm. The show will be opened by Janet Ranson, professional land artist.
Exhibition concludes on the 7th of July 2015.
Beyerskloof has generously donated wine for the opening.
The Courtyard Cafe will remain open for the evening until 8:30pm with a delicious winter warmer set menu of soups, chicken or butternut tartlets with a side salad and caponata with brown wild rice.
