DA Leader Maimane’s Youth Day Commemoration Diary

This weekend Democratic Alliance (DA) Leader, Mmusi Maimane, will be commemorating the brave students of June 1976, who lost their lives in the struggle for a better South Africa. The Leader will commemorate Youth Day in both Johannesburg and Alice in the Eastern Cape.
In Johannesburg, Maimane will be laying a wreath at the Hector Pieterson Memorial in Orlando West, Soweto and will be joined by DA Gauteng Provincial Leader, John Moodey, DA National Spokesperson, Refiloe Nt'sekhe, Regional Chairperson, Heinrich Volmink and DA Youth Gauteng Chairperson, Pogiso Mthimunye.
In Alice, the leader will address student at the University of Fort Hare and will be joined by DA Eastern Cape Provincial Leader, Nqaba Banga, DA Youth Federal Leader, Luyolo Mphithi, DA Students Organisation Constituency Head for Eastern Cape and MP for Higher Education and Training, Hlomela Bucwa, DAY EC Chairperson, Mawethu Kosani and DASO UFH President Xolani Jaji.
