The 24th annual Johannesburg Pride event is set to take place on the 28th September 2013 at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown

Organized by the newly founded Johannesburg Pride Planning Committee the Johannesburg Pride event is going full steam ahead. Each year, this event see’s thousands of South African from the LGBT community come together to celebrate the rights and freedoms our constitution has to offer.

The event also offers brands the opportunity to leverage their products or services to a lucrative consumer through a marketing mix of advertising platforms. Options include the event naming rights, event sponsorship, print advertising, activations, experiential marketing, online advertising and branding. Lunch Box Media – marketing and advertising agency to the LGBT media owners of South Africa has partnered with Johannesburg Pride to assist in corporate sponsorship and fund raising. Owner Donovan Steyl states: “Sponsorship options have been conveniently grouped with prices ranging from R2500 for the ‘Business Partner’ option to R75 000 for the ‘Diamond Partner’ option”.

The 2013 event is believed to be bigger and better than ever before. With some of the larger beverage and alcohol brands already confirmed and celebrity attendance by the likes of Gareth Cliff, Vicky Sampson and Gloria Bosman, Johannesburg Pride is going to be the hottest event of 2013.
