This year will host close to 70 Christian business and ministry booths, conference, children’s entertainment and gospel music. Fantastic prizes are also to be won in the business card draw, including a free ticket to join the Christian Business Expo tour to Israel in November 2008. Musicians are always big crowd-pullers to the Expo, and this year the show will highlight up-and-coming local artists, many well known gospel bands, as well as Christian music star Sean Bouchier.
Speakers at the Conference on the 20th October will challenge, inspire and encourage listeners. Among this year’s featured speakers are Lindie Gouws (editor of MyWorld magazine), Ron Pretious, founder of Men for the Master and Rev. Pieter Henning, Co-director of Multi Ministries South Africa.
The Christian Business Expo was founded in 2005 by Reneé Everett, “I see the Christian Business Expo as an event where business, music, ministry and worship meet and God is exalted.”
The Christian Business Expo will be supported by a wide range of sponsors including, Radio Pulpit, Rainbow FM 90.7, Thy Kingdom Come TV channel, Joy Magazine, Today Magazine, Parable Magazine, Woza Magazine, Strength magazine, Baptist Today Magazine and Sign A Rama – Westrand as well as adverts in various secular newspapers. Many local Christian media outlets will be represented at the Expo. Booths and sponsorships are still available.
“I am personally very excited for this year,” explains Reneè. “We picked the theme of “Come Together” after seeing the need of bringing all Christians together before we can do anything else. It is hard work and takes many months to put it all together, but what really counts is the way the Lord touches the lives of those attending. There is something for everyone and we believe this year will be a start of something amazing.”
