Graffiti Lands Wesbank Transport & Wraps 20 Trucks in Just 10 Days!
Written by: SIMONSAYS communications Save to InstapaperRecognised as South Africa’s leading transit branding company, Graffiti’s Cape Town office has landed Sandown Commercial Vehicles and the first project put the capabilities of the premium branding solutions supplier to test. A rigorous deadline was presented: wrap 20 Westbank Transport freightliner cabs in just 10 days. Up for the challenge and supported by a fully equipped in-house production department and design studio, according to Graffiti branding specialist Brian Wood, the project went without a hitch.
“While it’s not particularly difficult to partially wrap these vehicles, the initial challenge that had to be overcome was perfectly matching the client’s colours as specified in their CI guidelines. A number of digital swatches were sent to Namibia for approval, which although initially rejected, was ultimately matched to a pigmented green vinyl that got the green light for us to prepare for production,” says Wood. “With the clock ticking our entire factory pulled together to ensure the deadline was met.”
