Year End Functions? Stanley Beer Yard has You covered
Written by: MyPressportal Team Save to Instapaper
Stanley Beer Yard is well known and frequented in Johannesburg by many a beer-lover and music fundi because of its fine selection of craft beers, boutique wines and simple delicious food.
What many don’t know about this hidden gem is that the Beer Yard is also an idyllic and very unique event venue and corporate function space. Guests are welcomed into the spacious courtyard and are treated to the finest selection of craft beer, spirits, wines and ciders on offer. The space can accommodate up to two hundred people and there are full function menus and three course dinners available to suit whatever the catering needs are.
The rustic interior is definitely not your average restaurant or hall; the fireplace and cozy couches make for an intimate setting and the furniture can be cleared away to allow guests to sweep across the dance floor. Speaking of which, there is a wide array of vinyl junkies, DJs and bands that regularly entertain at the restaurant, and who will be sure to add that extra edge to any party.
A complementary craft beer is even thrown in for bookings over thirty guests.
There is safe and secure parking available across the street that is monitored by Africrest; but Stanley is not Stanley unless you try the beer it’s most famous for – so in order to enjoy yourself to the max, a taxi or car service is always recommended.
