
X-Fam is a group originally from KZN, Ports Shepstone Township few Kilometers away from Durban consists of 3 members. Sfiso Ngqulunga aka B Kay 18, Qiniso Dlamini aka Virus Raps 22, and Mlungisi Mthembu aka Fist 24. The trio group started their musical journey in 2016 when they met in an event where they were performing solos.“ We saw B Kay performing as a solo artist, we like his music and dance skills, we clicked and we decided to work together and make good quality music, we started performing at local clubs and other events and people loved our music,” says MlungisiIn 2017 X-Fam released their first single titled “Smoke” which they sold in the street and taxi ranks around KZN, Having the freshest swag, they also gained popularity because of the way they dress and look.“We made our name from selling our music in the street, what pushed us, even more, is that people are so supportive, they love our music and they buy our music” B Kay quotedTalent alone is not enough, the group potential attracted an artist manager Jay 26 whom then managed to get an Investor Hebert Malaza 46. “Herbert saw the boys performing on stage one day, he liked the music and performance but after understanding our vision, He bought us our own studio equipment and invested in our brand image. “ Jay."
