Weekend Warrior Plans Events and Free Training for 2014

Weekend Warrior, the initiative by Torre Automotive aimed at 4x4 enthusiasts to join a weekend outdoor club, is running a series of 4x4 events and free training. Weekend Warrior includes five key Torre Automotive brands; HDP 4x4 shock absorbers, Vision X LED lights, WARN winches, Airflow 4x4 snorkels and Hi-Lift jacks.
The events run started running on 19 July at Berekah in Free-State, 23 August at 3 Provinces, 27 September LA Sport in Pretoria, 25 October at Hennops, 29-30 November at Rust de Winter and on the 13 December there will be a GPS Challenge. The main Weekend Warrior events for the remainder of the year will be ‘Aksie Dag’ on 27 September at LA Sport in Pretoria and a ‘Mud Day’ event on 1st and 2nd November in Naboomspruit, Limpopo.
The training hosted by the Weekend Warrior team takes place at LA Sport in Pretoria situated at 385 Voortrekkersweg. It will be held on Saturdays starting 26 July, running from 09h00 to 12h00, and then on 16 August, 6 September, 18 October and 22 November. Booking will be required for Weekend Warrior members and is limited to 30 vehicles Weekend Warrior members and includes lunch. “Topics will include 4x4 techniques, use of accessories, safety and winching,” said Leonard Chester, product manager - Vehicle Accessories, Torre Automotive.
