Tsogo Sun has proudly added yet another award to its growing collection (https://www.tsogosun.com/media/awards) – the Business Traveller Africa Award for the Best South African Hotel Group, which was presented at a ceremony in Sandton. Earlier this year, 11 Tsogo Sun hotels and resorts won 2017 TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Awards (https://www.tsogosun.com/tripadvisor-top-hotels) and 66 properties won TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Awards, apart from various other accolades and awards that the group has achieved.
The Business Traveller Africa Awards are held in association with Business Traveller Africa magazine by Future Group, which annually engages ASATA (Association of SA Travel Agents), ABTA (African Business Travel Association), SAACI (SA Association for the Conference Industry), and SATSA (SA Tourism Services Association), together with a board of experienced travel professionals to assess and judge the nominated entrants.
Says Ravi Nadasen, Group Chief Operating Office of Tsogo Sun hotels, “We’re always proud and delighted to win awards, particularly such prestigious awards that are relevant to our market. It’s a reflection of our achievements and the high standards that we strive to maintain throughout the group. We take great pride in innovation and setting benchmarks – this Business Traveller Africa Award is testimony to the popularity of our properties by the important business travel sector.”
He adds that these achievements are in line with Tsogo Sun’s vision to provide memorable experiences to all guests, every time, and excellence in hospitality, leisure, gaming, and entertainment, across the portfolio of 14 casinos in South Africa and more than 100 hotels in South Africa, in other African countries, the Seychelles, and the Middle East.
