Join hands with Horizon Shopping Centre and Wings of Inspiration Care Centre
The Threads Up initiative aims to provide the homeless community of Roodepoort with a dignified shopping experience, which involves providing essential items in a welcoming space.
This will be done through a Pop-Up Shop store located at Horizon Shopping Centre on the 27th of January, where we hope to promote self-esteem, re-enforce a sense of community, and contribute to our community’s wellbeing by addressing their immediate needs with respect and compassion.
Each member will be able to experience a safe, clean and dignified shopping day where they will select items donated by the community such as clothing, blankets, food and many more daily essentials they do have access to.
Donate your pre-loved clothing, toys, blankets and or donated toiletries and non-perishable foods.
Drop of your donations at Horizon Shopping Centre, inside the donation boxes near Checkers.
