
Are you afraid of snakes, do you love them, would you like to learn more about these slithery creatures?
Then this weekend, on Saturday & Sunday (14th and 15th July) at uShaka Marine World is the place for you! They will be hosting a “Snake Awareness Day" outside Dangerous Creatures in uShaka Marine World Village Walk between 09h00 – 16h30. This is free to the public.
The event will focus on indigenous snakes encountered throughout South Africa, highlighting the important role they play in our lives.
There are over 170 species of snakes found in South Africa. If you have questions about any reptiles – here is your chance to chat to the Herpetologists who will tell you which snakes are harmless and which are not.
You will leave armed with contact details on who to call if you come across a snake in your home or garden that you would like removed.
