Love was in the air as guests arrived at the Valetine's Day inspired microwave cooking demonstration at the Samsung Store in Gateway.
Wendy Jubber, microwave chef and demonstrator at the event showed the audience how easy it is to make a few special dishes this Valentine's Day.
With hardly any effort she wizzed up a Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Raspberries nesting in a basket with velvet cream, Spicy Ginger Delights and chocolate moulds. "The most fantastic part of the menu is that you can create all of this by using only a multifunction microwave from Samsung" said Wendy. She used the recipes from Luci Hirsch's new recipe book, "Mums on the Run". The cookbook focuses on creating healthy, quick meals for the family, while keeping a good balance between career and home.
After the demonstration everyone was invited to taste the delectable sweets prepared.
