November 2016 - In order to showcase Junior MasterChef - an exciting new product range that has been especially created for children who enjoy cooking – Prima Toys took part in the Spur Secret Tribe Chief Cook Event.
Hosted at the KeTala Chef’s Academy, the event provided the opportunity for kids from Spur’s Loyal Secret Tribe to have plenty of fun, get creative and really show off their cooking, baking and decorating skills.
Sixteen parent and child teams from across Pretoria came together to create culinary delights and were given the exciting challenge of baking and decorating cookies, as well as making burgers. The teams were made up of mom-and- son/daughter and father-and- son/daughter combinations, who went all out to win the top prizes in each category.
Chiquita Patrizi, spokesperson for Prima Toys, was delighted that the Junior MasterChef cooking sets were showcased at the event. “The Junior MasterChef sets have been created especially for children and this event was the perfect platform for showcasing how easy and effective the cooking tools are to work with,” says Patrizi.
Each Junior MasterChef set includes real cooking tools with kid-safe, non-slip silicone grips and features three unique recipe cards for all levels of experience - line cook, sous chef and master chef - plus one blank recipe card to write your own recipe.
“It's never too early for kids to start learning how to cook. Good nutrition, learning about ingredients, discovering new flavours and knowing how to follow a recipe starts in your kitchen at home. With the new Junior MasterChef Junior range of products parents can be assured that their children are using kid-friendly products,” says Patrizi.
The product sets come in playful colours and the cooking tool sizes are perfect for a child’s hands. Ideal for ages six plus. The Junior MasterChef Cooking Sets are available at toy stores countrywide. From R599.99
