Party of the year in the Heart of JOZI

We were responsible for handling all the arrangements related to the organisation of the function, which included the theme, venue, the MC’s, décor, design and distribution of invitations including the collation of the RSVP process, providing entertainment on the night including the production management, video design, database management, show production, full logistical site management, technical management, catering, photography, registration, travel and accommodation for 66 members of staff and consumers plus giveaways. The décor was stylishly sophisticated with clear crisp lines in white with hints of green and red and there were plush white leather couches. Guests dined on various mouth-watering food options ranging from Sushi to Butternut Panzerotti and the popular energetic band Mafikizolo entertained guests including singing their top song Buti Ngihamba Nawe and DJ Cleo ensured the guests partied into the early hours of the morning, well past their bedtime. Not even the rain on the autumn evening could dampen the mood, especially for 30 winners who won an all expenses paid trip to Johannesburg to attend the dazzling party with one of these winners also walking away with a cheque for R50 000.The event was a huge hit with over 300 invited revellers attending in their glamorous outfits and finery. Many popular and famous faces could be seen which helped to heighten the atmosphere, these included Robert Hobbs of Isidingo and CrossRoads fame, Elana Afrika – 5FM DJ, Meshak Mavuso – actor from Isidingo and Liopelo and Abena from CrossRoads. The guests were able to have interactive participation with the stars during photo opportunities and they were presented with framed pictures as a memento of the superb evening.Our client was extremely happy with the event and the Brand Manager said of the service he received from the company, “Service was just outstanding and overall we are very happy with the quality of the function and level of service we got from The Event Production Company in the weeks leading up to the event”.
