Myths and Legends opens at intimate Theatre @ The Pavilion 1 March: Our super comfortable theatre has been upgraded to combine state of the art acoustics, lighting and sound equipment with personal ambience, an optional pre-performance buffet dinner, and comfortable seating to create an unrivalled theatre experience.
The very latest in advanced sound gear has been installed exclusively to enhance this musical production and make the Theatre @ The Pavilion the perfect home for Myths and Legends.
Jive to reinvented music of the 60s-90s, drink in hand, in the comfort of this theatre's plush leather seats, as the powerful voices and ethnic African flavours of the Fezeka School Choir reverberate with the contemporary rock style of Myths and Legends presented by this vibrant young band and choir, and produced by Mike McCullagh.
International hits with an African twist such as the Eagles' Hotel California, Bob Marley's No Woman No Cry and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody mixed with South African classics such as Johnny Clegg's Scatterlings of Africa and a brand new rendition of McCullagh's very own 70s hit, Buccaneer, evoke a sense of nostalgia and unite the audience with singing, tapping and dancing in the isles.
This is serious fun, is definitely seriously entertaining and relaxing, and perhaps you can read something more serious into the inherent Myths and Legends?
Our Four Course Pre-Show Dinner Buffet: It is a wholesome experience with a focus on the varieties of fresh local produce offering at least four courses, and a choice of savoury sour bitter and sweet tastes; offered baked, liquid, and fresh; or more substantial and appropriately cooked. Of course you will always be offered some suitable wine to go with it, and something sweet or cheesy to follow it! At R140-pp including the show you may think this is a fantasy! It's real so call now to book because we don't know how long this special introductory bargain price will be available?
