Life Retreat Hosts a Fundraising Event to introduce Yoga and Wellness to Under-Resourced Communities

Life Retreat Studio will be hosting a special fundraising event on 16th December 2023, the Day of Peace and Reconciliation in South Africa. The event will raise funds for the Ingelosi Foundation in support of their mission to sponsor the training of a Yoga Instructor who will come from and operate in communities that have not had the benefit of this form of exercise and self-knowledge.

Life Retreat believes through sharing the gift of teaching Laughter and traditional Yoga, with its transformative power of healing, exercise, and meditation, that its powerful message can be brought to those who need it the most.

The event will begin with a vibrant and energising Secret Sunrise dance at 6:45 am in the serene setting of the Lourensford Estate. Participants will experience the joy of movement and connection, setting a positive intention for the day.

Following the dance, Life Retreat will lead a grounding and transformative group meditation at the EarthBox situated on Lourensford Estate until 9:00 am. This meditation session, facilitated by experienced instructors, promises to impart a deep sense of inner peace and collective harmony.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, December 16, 2023Time: Secret Sunrise Dance - 6:45 am followed by a Guided Group Meditation until 9:00 am

You are welcome to join us for either one or both sessions.

Venue: Lourensford Estate, Somerset West

Cost:

• Secret Sunrise - R 150 per ticket
• Guided Meditation - R 150 per ticket
• Combo for both - R 250 per ticket 

The funds raised during this event will directly contribute to sponsoring the training of committed individuals and allowing them to become Yoga Instructor   We believe that this initiative not only empowers individuals but that it will also create a positive ripple effect in their communities.
