Gospel Artist Thabiso's music touches masses
Submitted by: MyPressportal TeamThabiso Makwakwa from singing in school choirs and leading church worship team discovered the joy and the power of worshipping God outside of church buildings and took a leap of faith by turning his talent into a career that touches thousands.
The rising gospel star comes from a Christian family and he started singing when he was seven years old.
Speaking to Soweto Urban News, Thabiso said: “I am so excited because my second album is going really great and the masses are loving it, This shows that I am on the right track; I am doing a good job. I just need to continue working hard and push my music.
“This year I want my music to reach millions and to be nominated at Crown Gospel Awards or Ingoma Awards,” he said.
The 35-years old from Meadowlands, Soweto recently released his second album, titled We Glorify, and is busy promoting it now.
“Next year will be launching my own record label because I want to give other unknown gospel artists a chance to showcase their talent.
“There are a lot of talented musicians who need a chance. It is very important for us as artists to support each other; in that way, we will all succeed,” he said.
Thabiso his a pianist by profession and his music touches thousands.
