'Celebrity Skin' - A Sensational Dance, Theatre and Dining Experience

Capetonians are guaranteed an exhilarating start to a hot summer season!

Cape Town, 10th September 2024 – Celebrity Skin is an intoxicating adult dance and theatrical dining experience, directed and choreographed by Grant van Ster and Shaun Oelf, and conceptualised by Craig Leo. Set in one of Cape Town’s most glamorous venues, this show combines elite dancers with an unforgettable cabaret performance.

The captivating storyline follows the backstage Janitor (played by Charles Tertiens) on his quest for love, taking him through an alluring journey of cabaret, dance, and theatre. The performance transitions through various moods—from icy and glamorous to thunderous, playful, and seductive—culminating in a breathtaking finale.

Charles Tertiens, the lead performer, expressed his excitement for the collaboration, stating:“I have been privileged to collaborate with an unlikely combination of hot property—physically, intellectually, and artistically. I am very excited by this confluence. Here two worlds meet and renew organisation of ideas. This can only but produce something new and unmissable.”

This rich blend of dance and visual artistry, featuring both local and international artists, promises to transport audiences into a world of sizzling entertainment.

Dining Experience

A mouth-watering menu will be available during the show, offering a variety of dining options. Guests can enjoy small plates for a light bite, sharing platters, or main course selections including juicy steaks, burgers, succulent prawns, and an extensive sushi menu featuring fresh Norwegian salmon, with each plate made to order.

Event Details

The iconic venue will be exclusively transformed for theatre guests, providing an intimate dining and performance experience. Celebrity Skin will take place from Wednesdays to Fridays, 7pm - 9pm, from 25th September to 30th November 2024 at Mavericks Revue Bar, Cape Town City Centre. Tickets range from R300 to R600 and include complimentary entrance to the venue after the show.
