A monthly after-hours night mission
The streets around 44 Stanley will soon rumble with the thunder of roaring engines once more because Calexico and The Klassikist are proud to bring back the much-loved Night Ride, a once-a-month gathering for everyone who loves a good bbbbrrraaaaaappppp! Beers, burgers and bikes will be the order of the day, in fact R110 will get you a ‘double double bourbon burger’ and a pint! Women riders who roll in get the same deal for a mere R80. All you have to do is pitch up with a helmet!
Calexico is an Americana-inspired vinyl lounge and restaurant, designed to bring guests only the best on music and all round good chow and great booze. Food is a colourful mix of nachos, burgers, pulled pork, rotisserie chicken and ribs. The drinks menu is a carefully handpicked blend of craft beer, wine and signature cocktails.
The Klassikist is a veteran Joburg DJ who loves playing his record collection to unsuspecting music lovers whenever he gets the chance. He loves everything from Miles Davis to Marilyn Manson and will be playing a set with a rock’n’roll heart for all the riders who come through to Night Ride.
Hook up with your bike buddies and ride through for the first edition this month on 30 August!
