YOU CAN BACK YOUR FAVOURITE CAST THIS WEEK ON FAMILY FEUD SA, AS THEY TAKE EACH OTHER ON TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY
There’s an extra dose of glitz and glamour in Family Feud this week when host Steve Harvey welcomes cast members from eTV soapies, Scandal and House of Zwide.
Each team is hoping to win the jackpot in a bid to see how much money they can raise for their charities of choice. Tune in to e.tv this Sunday 29 August at 6pm to find out which charity benefits the most from the battle of the soapies.
Each team will surely add a huge dose of entertainment while raising funds for their charities.
Team Scandal:
They will play for the Keiskamma Music Academy, an organisation that aims to uplift the quality of life of vulnerable rural children of Hamburg (in the Eastern Cape) and surrounds, by creating opportunities through a musical education.
- Wandile Molebatsi, who plays the character of Duma
- Nqobile Khumalo, who plays, Hlengiwe Twala, the character of a fierce and cutthroat journalist
- Tshepo Mosese, who plays the policeman and bodyguard, Lerumo Chabedi
- Sandile Mahlangu, who plays the role of Simo Shabangu
- Lusanda Mbane, who plays the character of Boniswa
Team House of Zwide:
They will play for Sonke Gender Justice, a South African based non-profit organisation that works in South Africa and throughout Africa as well as through global mechanisms to promote gender equality, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
- Londeka Mchunu, who plays the role of Zanele Zwide
- Paballo Mavundla, who plays the character of Sandile
- Motlatsi Mafatshe, who stars as a comedic and the troublesome uncle Molefe
- Khaya Dladla, who stars as Lazarus on the show
- Matshepo Maleme, who plays the character of Rea Molapo
Both teams will meet on the Family Feud SA set this week, to pit themselves against each other in a bid to see who will name the most popular responses to gathered survey questions.
Hosted by entertainer, businessman and philanthropist STEVE HARVEY, the game consists of five rounds and each correctly guessed answer is worth a number of points. When a team fails to answer a question, they receive a strike and after three strikes the opposing team has the chance to ‘steal’ the points on the board. At the end of Round five, the losing team takes their haul home and the other team goes on to play Fast Money in a bid to win the jackpot.
