Arbour Café brings you Bubbles of the World
Written by: MyPressportal Team Save to Instapaper
Our team at Arbour Café and Courtyard have always had a soft spot for the finer things in life – delicate cheeses, traditionally made galettes, duck confit, rich and flavorsome soups, and - one of our greatests - our fine selection of bubbly to compliment absolutely any meal.
On 24 May we are treating you to a night out to enjoy some of the tastiest bubbles from around Europe. The evening will be led by Derek Kilpin, co-owner and GM of Great Domaines, a fine wine importer based in Rosebank. Derek has gained invaluable experience from travelling to Spain, France and Italy to visit and taste at the various estates they exclusively represent- all of whom form part of their impressive portfolio. Before finishing his 4 year stint in the wine trade in London he completed the advanced level examination from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. His knowledge and passion for bubbly is remarkable and will ensure an unforgettable experience.
Bubbles will be paired with a four course dinner from our menu, outlined below:
Aperitif
- Nua Prosecco
Dinner
- Louis Bouillot Brut, FRANCE
- San Leo Prosecco, ITALY
- Cava, Bodega Muga, SPAIN
Dessert
Tickets are R499 per person. Reservations are essential.
