Aloe Rocks 2013 set to be largest outdoor concert

Aloe Rocks, 23 February, will commence with a day and night of South Africa’s hottest bands. A confirmed lineup of, Watershed, Just Jinjer. Apolo 7, Kurt Darren, Dewald Dippenaar, Newtons 2nd Law, The Plastics, Zebra & Giraffe, Kinky Robot, Lonehill Estate, Octainium, Graeme Watkins Project & Jack Parow.

Aloe Rocks is set for 50 000 attendees with bars and a different kind of setup for food stalls. Not just Burgers and hotdogs but inclusive of Vegeterian options, Crepes, Thai food, Cupcakes and Mushroom kebabs to name a few.

Local businesses to benefit from hotels & lodges as well as smaller businesses. This is the first event of a 5 year plan to help develop the region and by generating more business this will generate much needed employment in the area.

Worried you won’t be able to see? Don’t be! There will be a 20m LED screen and various support screens!

One of the highlights will be the largest 3D Holotronica screen ever. This is a first for South Africa!  Holotronica is a new 3D Audio-Visual (AV) project by Stuart Warren-Hill, Stuart is world-renowned in his field and has designed projected holograms that have been displayed all over the world. 

To get there will be easy. There will be park and rides from Pretoria, Sandton, Randburg, the East Rand, West Rand, Lanseria and O R Thambo. There will also be limited parking in two parking zones at the venue.
