Party with Heart is a new initiative supported by Hush Hush Marketing, set to hit the clubs of Cape Town from July. Party with Heart was born from the idea of Cape Town NGO Heart to involve the nightlife industry in giving a little back to the escalating social problems currently facing South Africa. The first venue to come on board and support the party is Karma Lounge in Camps Bay. Owner Andrew Lee Pratt was more than delighted to host such a party. The first event, Heart at Karma, in association with Hush Hush, is taking place on Friday 10th July. Heart brings about social transformation by creating sustainable social enterprises i.e. market-based solutions to social problems that work long term. Heart has a distinctive portfolio of projects addressing a wide range of social and environmental challenges in South Africa.Heart’s solutions are business-oriented, boldly creative, resourceful and impact on the ground, where it matters most. Heart events has the pleasure of creating successful, meaningful events that help the projects flourish, raising much needed funds and providing vital marketing exposure.

Heart events, the inspiration behind the concept, has partnered with Hush Hush Marketing to bring together a new, colourful party experience for everyone. Heart events will generate funds through entrance fees into the venue in return for marketing and PR for the venue and partners.So what makes this event different? It is cause driven, raising funds and awareness for Heart and how social enterprise is the new method in alleviating social problems in South Africa. The party offers the perfect platform for guests to give a little back with little effort. It is a win-win for all – the organizers, the venue, the guests and importantly, those in need. Expect drink promos, top DJs and musicians, give-aways, competitions, performing artists, merchandise, informationand not forgetting, a great party!

Heart Events and Hush Hush intend to host a Party with Heart every 2 months in supporting venues, and wish to thank the Karma Lounge for hosting the first event. Event organizers, Claire Alexander of Heart, and Edward Lawrence of Hush Hush, have no doubt that this new party concept will become a success in the entertainment industry, creating a unique experience with loyal guests and encouraging more venues and sponsors to support the event across Cape Town.

Heart at Karma is open to everyone over the age of 18 and kicks off at 9pm on Friday 10th July 2009.
