Lexan® is virtually unbreakable, is the only make of poly carbonate that has been approved for use in the aviation industry, is very scratch resistant, is bullet resistant and has passed the toughest tests in the world. The Gautrain uses 4 mm Lexan® for their windows to protect commuters from stones and other objects that could hurt passengers.
