Starbucks brings Third Place to Muizenberg’s Surfers Corner

Muizenberg magic is in the surf, sandy beaches, shops, and breath-taking sunrises – and now Starbucks is adding the special touch of a ‘Third Place’ (as Starbucks is famously known) with a brand-new store at the iconic Surfers Corner.
Starbucks Muizenberg is warmly inviting surfers, cyclists, sightseeing sunseekers and coffee-lovers to come and enjoy the spectacular Starbucks menu enhanced by the stunning panoramic views of the beach. Store Manager, Takalani ‘TK,’ Netshizwa, says the new store’s team of eight is excited about bringing their own blend of exceptional experience to the colourful culture of the beach-side suburb. “We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors, business people and holiday-makers, cyclists, surfers and spectators, into our new store. Best of all will be introducing them to our amazing food and beverage offerings, as well as our uniquely South African ‘Be My Guest’ experience. We’re making our spot a special ‘third place’ between home and work. Somewhere they can relax with their favourites from our menu, connect with fellow guests, chat to our baristas and enjoy the feeling of always being welcomed.”
Starbucks Muizenberg features the full range of Starbucks hot and cold beverages, as well as a wide selection of delicious snacks , lunch and in-between meals and treats. The brand’s wide range of premium coffees is proudly complemented by excellent service from the local storepartners. “Everyone in the new store is keen to share their knowledge about the coffee blends and roasts on offer,” says TK. A particular source of pride for all Starbucks partners is that Starbucks coffee is 99% ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme.
