Rand Show announces more real value for exhibitors

20 February 2023; Johannesburg: For many small to medium businesses, trade shows and expos are a critical gateway to meet their customers and build a brand, but for those in this market, they can also be a daunting experience. This is why the Rand Show is offering all Small to Medium businesses, with a stand at this year's event, the chance to join a training day on how to benefit from expos.
In the UK, America and Europe, companies that teach brands how to best exhibit at expos, and take advantage both before and after, run training sessions that cost more than R10 000 per person for the privilege. Still, in South Africa these services simply don’t appear to exist. This is why the Rand Show has made it their mission to not only take their stall holders through a series of expo-centred training sessions, but to do so at a nominal fee compared to what is being charged on the international market.
Taking place on the 14th of March, well ahead of the show itself, which begins on the 6th of April, the topics covered will include tips on how to position and place stands for the most interaction and best practices on stand design, social media, expo promotions as well as getting the most from your expo experience.
It is a significant value add to a sector of the South African business community which can often be neglected and involves the input of several expo industry experts, including Adele Hartdegen, the CEO of the Johannesburg Expo Centre and Dogan Exhibitions and Events, as well as Didi Okoro, Head of Sales and Sihle Dube Key Accounts Manager for the Rand Show. Lerato Marule Marketing Executive for GL Events South Africa. Marketing and design specialists Nicole Windbrechtinger and Marné Coetzee from DGTL Group, as well Exhibition and Event Design Consultant Gary van der Watt. And PR specialists Sarah Martin, Agency Director and Kerry Oliver Account Director from The Lime Envelope.
Those interested in exhibiting a stand at this year’s Rand Show can still head to https://randshow.co.za/exhibitors/ to apply.
