Nü Health Food Café opens its doors in Green Point
Submitted by: MyPressportal TeamExperience natural goodness at the new Nü Health Food Café, now open in Green Point. The new store is the second Nü location in Cape Town, serving up the freshest global trends using the finest local produce. Pop in and experience balanced, sustainable and wholesome meals.
Nü specializes in locally sourced produce with a large focus on the raw food movement, while incorporating other dietary and health trends such as gluten-, dairy- and wheat-free options. With a wide variety to choose from and a relaxed dining style (which includes a take-away, self-service option), there’s bound to be something delicious for all tastes, and nothing to feel guilty about.
Inspired by the arrival of spring, natural, fresh and healthy dishes on the menu include the pea and broccoli open omelette, gluten and sugar free blueberry protein flapjacks, tuna cakes and the strawberry-B smoothie. Bursting with seasonal goodness are the raw source wrap (rocket, celery, peppers, sweetcorn, radish, green beans, coriander, pea shoots, pumpkin seeds and a honey-sesame dressing) and the Hearti salad (greens, roasted butternut, ricotta, red onion relish, basil, cucumber, sprouts, toasted sesame seeds with a lemon and olive oil dressing).
