Kyalami Corner hosts Halloween car show and charitable events in October

Kyalami, Gauteng – Kyalami Corner is officially kicking summer off with several charitable events this October. There are several exciting things that are happening at Kyalami Corner for the whole family on Saturday 21 October.

We’re letting the dogs out this October. Kyalami Corner is hosting a show with Woodrock Animal Rescue from 10am. Visitors will get a chance to see the “golden oldies” who are being cared for Woodrock and who are in need of forever homes.

Older dogs are often not given the attention they need when it comes to finding homes, but Woodrock is determined to give them their best lives. Woodrock is a pro-life shelter that aims to improve the lives of abused, neglected and stray animals.

October is breast cancer awareness month, and sadly, there are very few people who don’t have a friend or family member who has been touched by cancer. CANSA will be holding a Shavathon between 8:30am and 2:30pm outside the Dis-Chem entrance at Kyalami Corner.

You can make a donation, get your head shaved or get a bunch of funky colours sprayed in to honour that one person who has gone through cancer. It’s an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who have the disease.

Car lovers are also in for a treat on 21 October. Because it’s “spooky season” there is an extra edge to 86 of GP’s gathering at 3:30pm at Salsa, Kyalami Corner. Dress yourself and your car up to mark the arrival of Halloween.

86 of GP is a motor club for Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ in the Gauteng area. So bring your spooky car along and enjoy dressing yourself up too!

October also sees the launch of Kyalami Corner’s Payday Specials. This digital catalogue will outline fantastic specials from Kyalami Corner’s shops so that you can save even more. This catalogue will be available at the end of each month.

And for those who need some extra light in their lives, Eagle Lighting is now open at Kyalami Corner. Eagle Lighting stocks the widest range of domestic and commercial lighting solutions and their large variety won’t disappoint.
