Bata launches new Bata Comfit range at Miladys

Footwear giant Bata South Africa has collaborated with leading women’s fashion retailer Miladys to launch a new ladies-only range of its international footwear label, Bata Comfit, in-store and online.

Bata SA Country Manager, Michael Wyatt, said, “We’re thrilled to partner with Miladys and bring Bata Comfit back to South Africa, specifically for women. This collaboration aligns with our strategy to expand our international brands locally through partnerships with leading retail chains.”

He added, “Miladys is known for their commitment to providing women with the latest fashion trends and understanding their needs and desires. We share that vision of empowering women to look and feel confident, and we believe Bata Comfit is the perfect complement to their offering.”

Since the launch in September, sales of Bata Comfit have been solid.

The latest Spring/Summer23 collection available in-store or online at Miladys has been carefully curated to complement women’s wardrobes and provide the support they need for their busy lives. It features 12 attractive sandal styles from Bata Comfit’s Active Walk, Cushion and Wellness ranges, in a pastel colour palette.

Each design boasts superior fit, cushioning, flexibility and lightweight features that are certified by the internationally recognised Shoe and Allied Trades Research Association (SATRA), an independent research and testing organisation for the footwear and other industries. The shoes have cushioned insoles and heels, enhanced arch support, padding for the ball of the foot, anti-slip outsoles, and an advanced ergonomic design.
