[Roodepoort, November 2024] – Kwena Square is thrilled to host the 2024 TREEMENDOUS Recycle Challenge, a unique competition that combines creativity, community spirit, and sustainability. This initiative highlights the innovative talents of local schools as they craft stunning upcycled tree displays, showcasing the importance of environmental conservation.
Visit, Vote, and Make a Difference
From 22 November to 20 December, the community is invited to visit the Checkers Court at Kwena Square, admire the incredible upcycled trees created by schools like Curro Academy Wilgeheuwel, Trinity House, Mellow Oaks, and Nova Pioneer, and vote for their favourite.
