IBC SOLAR - Changes in the Management of the South African Subsidiary

Fredrik Hagelberg Appointed as Second Managing Director of IBC SOLAR South Africa (Pty) Ltd.

Cape Town, February 17, 2025 – IBC SOLAR, a leading full-service provider of SOLAR energy solutions, announces changes in the management of its South African subsidiary, IBC SOLAR South Africa (Pty) Ltd, effective January 15, 2025.

IBC SOLAR South Africa (Pty) Ltd announces a shift in leadership. Daniel Haitzler, who has been working as the company’s Managing Director since the start in 2017 will leave the company on March 31, 2025 for personal reasons. In this regard Fredrik Hagelberg has joined the company as the second Managing Director based in Cape Town. Over the next two months, he will work alongside Daniel Haitzler, who will assist with the transition.

Fredrik Hagelberg brings extensive experience in photovoltaics and battery storage as well as management expertise. Most recently, he worked at CVE (Changing Vision of Energy) South Africa, where he contributed to the company’s growth in the commercial and public sectors. Previously, he served as Southern Africa Area Director at Fonroche Lighting and co-founded Terra Firma Solutions, focusing on energy efficiency, PV and battery storage technologies. His background will support IBC SOLAR South Africa’s ongoing development in the region.
