WRICH was set up in Sterskspruit in the Eastern Cape on September 4th, 2015, and is owned by six rural women. WRICH is passionate about creating economic growth in developing areas, while empowering rural women to participate in creating this growth and development. Since its inception in Sterkspruit, the Company has enjoyed widespread support from the community and has broad-based shareholding targets to support its objective of ensuring broad based economic empowerment in the rural areas.
The company works with young, middle-aged and older rural women to develop sustainable businesses in response to opportunities that are present in the rural areas, and these opportunities usually coincide with the socio-economic challenges that are prevalent in the rural areas. By combining young and old women together, the company hopes to orchestrate a transfer of skills and knowledge from the older generation, while taking advantage of the innovative young minds of female entrepreneurs and visionaries that are within the company.
This synchronistic relationship that empowers women is an internal culture that the company wishes to successfully communicate through its marketing and branding. In recognizing the importance of coaching in this field, the company’s Marketing, Branding and Communications Director saw it as a great opportunity to attend and learn from this exclusive JT Foxx coaching session.
