Resolute45 Opens Applications for Transformative Graduate Program Aimed at Young South African Trailblazers

Nationwide roadshow kicks off July 24 to reach creative thinkers ready to shape their future

Applications are now open for the Resolute45 Graduate Program, a one-of-a-kind, 12-month journey designed to equip young South Africans with the skills, mindset, and experience to succeed in both work and life. With applications open until 29 August 2025, the program is calling on recent, or soon-to-be, high school graduates that have participated in, or completed the Resolute Coding and Robotics Program at school.

A partnership between Resolute Education, one of South Africa’s Leading Coding and Robotics providers for K-12 Education; and Platform45, a specialist software product development company, Resolute45 was created to bridge the growing gap between school-leavers and the modern world of work. Together, the two companies are investing in the personal and professional development of South Africa’s future creators, coders, and changemakers.

Resolute45 doesn’t follow the traditional “top of the class” recruitment model. Instead, the program actively seeks out creative problem-solvers, independent thinkers, and those who may not fit the academic mold, but have the curiosity and grit to build something greater. “South Africa presents an extraordinary landscape for young leaders: a country ripe with complex challenges that demand innovative solutions. The program, already in motion with its first cohort nearing the end of their school journey in 2025, combines intensive personal development, practical project-based learning, and hands-on experience in coding and robotics. Beyond technical skills, students also develop critical life skills, including emotional intelligence, collaboration, and problem-solving, that prepare them for success in both work and life. “One of the things I was able to take away from the program, and into my job, was the ability to learn on the fly, and bring in practical skills into the real world” - Cable Maharaj, Graduate from one of Resolute’s initial programs, and a current software developer at Resolute.

From the 28th of July, Platform45 Head of Marketing, Lucia Xypteras and Resolute Education Chief Growth Officer, Huzaifa Khan will hit the road on a school roadshow, visiting a few selected schools, to introduce the initiative to learners graduating from their schools across South Africa. Their mission: to inspire students who may not see themselves as traditional high achievers, but who show resilience, creative thinking, and a hunger to grow.These roadshows are currently focused on schools selected for the first cohort of the Graduate Program, and will see Richards and Ramakrishnan opening the doors to the next generation of work, to catalyse the way youth in South Africa integrate with the workforce.
