Leean Murugan

Leean Murugan has been appointed as the new General Manager for the Garden Court South Beach hotel in Durban.

Leean joined the Group in June 2012 as the Assistant General Manager at the Garden Court South Beach, having worked at various hotels outside the group in Rooms Division and General Management positions. She was promoted to General Manager at Garden Court Blackrock in 2014 and has been the General Manager at Southern Sun Pietermaritzburg since April 2017.

John Aritho

The appointment of John Aritho as General Manager, Beverly Hills hotel.

John joined the Group in January 1997, at the Holiday Inn Nairobi, before being transferred to South Africa where he worked in various management and senior management positions at Company hotels in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Lusaka, and in Durban — where he was General Manager at the Southern Sun Maharani and most recently, the General Manager at the Garden Court Marine Parade.

During his career with the Group, John has been involved in a number of hotel openings, including the Holiday Inn Maputo in Mozambique, the Holiday Inn Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, the Winelands Hotel in Cape Town, and the Qamardeen Hotel in Dubai —where he was General Manager.
