Take time off with CMTrading at the Squad Games

Johannesburg, March 2024: CMTrading is delighted to announce its partnership with “the next big thing” in functional fitness, the Squad Games. Presented by Bomani Events, Squad Games takes teams of two through five gruelling workouts over two days of competition to determine the ultimate functional fitness champions. A game of strategy as much as it is one of fitness, Squad Games is both an opportunity for athletes to test themselves at the limit and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Of course, the teams won’t be testing themselves at 100% for the whole weekend, which is where the CMTrading Chill Zone comes into play. The Chill Zone offers participants and their supporters the chance to relax and recover between events, with staff on hand to provide words of encouragement and advice, an ice cold drink and the opportunity to learn about the world of trading with CMTrading.

The event takes place at Diggers Rugby Club in Randburg on the 23rd and 24th of March, and food, equipment and clothing vendors will ensure that all attendees have everything they need to enjoy the competition. DJs and MCs will keep the crowd entertained, and there will be jumping castles for the kids whose energy can only be rivalled by the competitors. 

VP of Marketing for CMTrading, Jonathan Bergman explained that with the CMTrading’s strong emphasis on community engagement, as well as elite competition, the Squad Games is the perfect partner.

Functional fitness has always been an important consideration for Squad Games founder Warren Williams, who founded the games looking to bring togetherness, community and athleticism together. The immense popularity of past events has shown he has succeeded with Modern Athlete magazine, even going so far as to call Squad Games “The next big thing”.
