Godfrey Parkin, Britefire’s President, said “Entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, and small-medium enterprises are poorly served by the traditional executive training industry in South Africa. Few individuals can afford the thousands of Rand that it takes to attend a 2-3 day course, yet the future prosperity of South Africa’s economy is totally dependent on the success of smaller businesses. Their ability to grow has been handicapped by their inability to afford the skills and knowledge training they need.
Nowhere is this more true than in internet-based commerce, which offers unprecedented opportunities to small businesses, and where the primary barrier to entry is knowledge.”
The first one-day seminar in the series, Be Brilliant @ E-business, debuts in Johannesburg on Friday January 26th and in Cape Town on February 1st. Participants get a practical non-technical primer on internet marketing and commerce, framed in the context of building businesses and brands. Participants will learn all of the rules-of-thumb that make it easy for them to avoid common mistakes in strategy, planning and execution, and will leave primed for success in local and global online markets.
The seminar will be led by Godfrey Parkin, an internationally acknowledged thought leader in the field of e-marketing and e-learning, who has spent the past two decades running online businesses in Europe and the USA.
The fee for the one-day seminar is R495 including VAT. Details and registration are available on Britefire’s website (www.britefire.co.za ) or at 021-790-0303.
