
We caught up with Mudzuli Phaswana,Mostly known as JR King Phaswana who traded successfully for a number of years; we felt that we would all benefit from some insight into his experience and approach.
The 26 years Forex Trader, Born in Venda Limpopo and raised in Pretoria Gauteng, JR King is Founder & CEO of Opulentwealthgroup.co.za, Serial Entrepreneur, and a traveler.
“Growing up was bit tough for us because we were all relying on my father for financial support, it wasn’t easy to get things that other kids would get” quoted
The multi-millionaire matriculated from Voortrekkerhoogte hoerskool, in 2009, but due to lack of finance he had to start working immediately. He worked for the South African Air Force as an Electronic Communication Technician. He then later resigned when he started to become successful in trading.
“My interest in forex began when I kept on bumping into forex adverts on the Internet, decided to research more about it and realized that the was a lot of people successful from it started to download a lot of books to read about forex and watched a lot of YouTube videos, and further attended couple of courses which cost me R25k” JR King explains.
The foreign exchange market is the largest financial market in the world with an estimated $6 .5 Trillion traded per day. It is known for its high-risk nature, and high capital requirement this is why it is mostly traded by banks, commercial companies, central banks, investment management firms, hedge funds, and retail forex brokers and investors.
“The hardships definitely made me stronger and a better person, forex trading is not a get rich quick scheme thing, you need to be very patient to be a successful in anything, it took me about almost 3 years to be successful in the forex business, now I’ve been trading for 5 years in total, to any beginner research, download books and watch videos that are trading related and get a successful mentor to help you”
