Carrick Wealth excels at International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards
Submitted by: Carrick WealthCape Town-based wealth and capital management firm Carrick Wealth today scooped up two top awards in the International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards for 2017 at an award ceremony held in Cape Town.
Carrick won in the categories Excellence in Client Service, and Excellence in Marketing and Client Engagement.
The annual awards are considered to be one of the international financial advisory services industry’s most prestigious honours. Awarded in six regions globally each year, the awards are in recognition of a winning firm’s commitment to best practice and service excellence in the provision of financial advisory services.
Last year Carrick was also among the winners, also taking honours in two categories, namely Excellence in Business Transformation and Excellence in Investment Planning.
“I am absolutely honoured, and very, very proud of my team,” said Carrick’s CEO, Craig Featherby upon learning of his firm’s outstanding achievement.
“As we celebrate our third year in business on 8 October, to be award winning two out of those three years against competition from many other companies that have been established in the industry much longer than us, speaks volumes for our company, its people, and our commitment to providing our clients with the best possible service.”
To be honoured in this way by industry peers, is a reflection of Carrick Wealth’s hard work and strong focus on service excellence, and its mission to help transform and establish new benchmarks for the industry, said Featherby.
The awards series is hosted annually by International Adviser, a global information and research platform serving the financial adviser community, in partnership with Old Mutual and Last Word Media.
The awards are designed to recognise financial advisory firms within the industry that are making, or have made, the transition towards best practice in six global regions: United Kingdom, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa and the Middle East. Winners in each region, as well as the overall global winner, are decided by a carefully selected independent panel of industry judges.
In the category Excellence in Client Service Carrick stood out for providing a world class service in meeting the expectations of its clients by offering advice and solutions that are perfectly matched to their needs.
Carrick’s win in the category Excellence in Marketing and Client Engagement is in recognition of its innovative marketing programme, its content marketing strategy and its multi-media platforms to deepen existing client relationships and reach potential new clients. Carrick Wealth has its head office in Cape Town, with branch offices in Johannesburg, Durban, Mauritius, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Drawing on its excellent global operational reach and partnerships, the firm’s growth strategy is strongly focused on expanding in Africa and leading the transformation of the financial adviser industry across the continent.
