We are proud to share this year’s announcement and congratulate the organisations who have been certified in their respective countries through the Top Employers Institute programme.”
“We are exceedingly proud to be named as a Top Employer for the fourth consecutive year,” says
Zanele Dintwa, Head of Employee Engagement & HRBP. “As a company with a people-centred approach at the heart of all our operations, we want to ensure that our HR practices are up there with the best. The fact that we continue to be one of the most respected broker organisations in the world reflects our strong fundamentals and is a testament to the tremenduous work and efforts of our employees in serving our clients. The achievement of this award is also testimony to the unwavering commitment to our employee engagement strategy. Much of our success relies in the value creation we deliver for all our clients and stakeholders. We do this through great people which is why our people strategy is premised on being the employer destination of choice for great people leaders and experts, and to grow and develop our people within Aon on this dual career path.
“Our achievement of Top Employer certification, even after a tumultuous 2020 with its pandemic uncertainty and radically changed working arrangements, is affirmation of our commitment to our people strategy. I am priviliged to count myself amongst a group of remarkable professionals who are persevering, despite immense adversity. We have empowered and balanced employees who are able to master their current work requirements, as well as meet the demands of a radically changing world of work in a post pandemic society with a view to advancement and up-skilling. Fundamentally, our ability to attract and retain top talent underpins our ability to deliver the best results and outcomes for our clients. Engaged employees who feel valued in their work environment will put our clients first with distinctive service, measurable results and actionable insights that address their most pressing risk challenges. It’s the foundation upon which the successful growth and continued profitability of our business and industry depends,” explains Zanele.
“The pandemic has highlighted the need to remain agile and adaptable with a resilient workforce that is able to thrive in these changing times as individuals and as a collective. Our work environment has and continues to undergo much upheaval as a result of the pandemic - maintaining an energised and positive workforce despite the uncertaintly of times we find ourselves in will be our clarion call for 2021.”
