Increasing your Sales at Hirsch's Networking Mornings

Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently hosted their monthly Business Networking Morning with dynamic entrepreneurs within the community ready to network and talk business with like minded people.
Guest Speaker for the morning, Empowerment Specialist, Di Boyack, gave wise tips to the audience on how to increase sales. Di has trained business managers and entrepreneurs in a range of business skills from systems thinking to selling. She has worked in many industries such as banking, pharmaceuticals, mining, retail and construction. She is passionate about bringing change by empowering people through knowledge and skills that can immediately be applied back in their workplace.
Tips from Di:As an entrepreneur there three things to master in order to increase your sales;
1. Your value proposition/ pitch:
- Who do you serve?
- What problem do you solve?
- How do you solve it?
- What are the benefits to others?
2. Building relationships with the right people:
- Plant the seed by adding value
- Cultivate the relationship by being present
- Harvest benefits for both
3. Selling skills:
Once you have mastered your value proposition and have built meaningful relationships with the right people the selling will come naturally.
After Di’s talk networkers were given the opportunity to present themselves and their business in a 30-second ‘elevator pitch. ’ This was followed by lucky draw prizes, networking, sharing of business cards and enjoying a light breakfast.
